Just a quick note: I wanted you all to know that I have trimmed back my After School schedule. As I am in my 70’s… And will probably never fully retire from this fantastic opportunity to teach kids sewing and watch them learn and grow in a life long skill. But this year I am focusing on my week days on teaching private lessons with youngsters and young adults with special needs that desperately need additional skills in life and a place of enjoyment like Sew Inspired. Check out my once-a-month Kids Week End Workshops, Holiday Camps and always sign-up early for our iconic Summer Sew Camps. 

Thursdays After School: Ages 8-11 yrs: 3:30-5:30 $250The student teacher ratio is very-hands-on: 1 teacher for 3 students. All the projects are pre-prepped. This provides a ‘smooth-as-possible’…experience for the seamsters.  We love to make seasonal projects of home and room decor and simple garments. All projects and materials are provided. There is usually a little  ‘freestyle’ time, too.  The slightly older girls (12-13 yrs) will be expected to bring their own patterns and fabrics (we always have supplemental fabrics, too!) We will coach them on WHAT THEY WANT/HOPE TO MAKE. Their projects take a bit longer to finish…but they learn a lot!

We group the age groups with a partition.
